with mischer'traxler 5 - 11 July

We will give a workshop in Boisbuchet this year from July 5th-11th and are already quite sure that it will be a very nice week.
The focus of the workshop will be: "It takes more than one" - it will investigate how to involve more than one person within the use of an object/ when operating something / when making things etc. ... and/or how to bring people together in general.

project:
'Day-by-day' is a hand knotted rug which is designed to visualize human labour and the working time of the maker to produce one carpet. Each working day is translated into the pattern of the rug and by doing so, each piece becomes as unique as its maker while at the same time unveiling the exact amount of working days per carpet.

new project:
'small Discoveries', is an extended collaboration between mischer'traxler and Perrier-Jouët that started with the project 'ephemerā' and is continued throughout 2015 with more projects.

The first 'small discoveries' for Perrier-Jouët is a gift-packaging including a Blason Rosé cuvée and two very special champagne flutes.
An insect engraved on the inside of the glass creates a visual point that encourages effervescent. The delicate engraving means the champagne bubbles cluster at the design, and spiral upwards through the wine like an optical game.
